Stacy Nation, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, trauma-informed educator, speaker, and Behavioral Health Officer in the Wyoming Army National Guard. She has worked with children, families, high-stress systems, and military-connected individuals for more than two decades. Since joining the Wyoming Army National Guard in 2013, Stacy has served in behavioral health roles supporting Soldier readiness, deployment, reintegration, and emotional well-being, including supporting more than 500 Soldiers during Operation Spartan Shield.
Stacy brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, military experience, and trauma-informed practice to her work. She specializes in helping professionals understand the nervous system, build trust with people who have experienced hard things, and create safety before expecting insight, disclosure, or change. Her teaching style is practical, engaging, story-informed, and rooted in the belief that healing begins with understanding—not judgment.
Stacy has been in private practice for 20 years, specializing in PTSD and Developmental Trauma Disorder. She practices in Wyoming, Colorado, and Montana.
