Alex is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and EMDRIA-trained clinician with extensive experience serving individuals, families, and communities across Wyoming and the Mountain West. She provides EMDR therapy and integrates trauma-informed, person-centered approaches throughout her clinical work.

In addition to clinical practice, Alex is a counselor educator teaching graduate-level courses for the University of Wyoming–Casper and is actively involved in statewide and national advocacy related to mental health access, professional counseling standards, and education policy. She currently serves as President-Elect of the Western Region of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and is a frequent presenter on advocacy and activism in counseling, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), equipping counselors with practical, evidence-based strategies to better serve diverse communities.
