Beth Johnson, MA, LPC, NCC, EMDRIA Certified Therapist, is a clinical leader and educator with over a decade of experience specializing in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and grief counseling. She has held diverse leadership roles, including Clinical Director and Training Director for the Colorado 988 Suicide Prevention Lifeline, as well as leadership and clinical positions within community mental health and nonprofit organizations.
Beth spent more than six years living abroad in Japan as an educator, gaining valuable cross-cultural insight that continues to inform her clinical perspective and approach to healing. She is recognized for her ability to translate complex clinical concepts into practical, actionable interventions and strategies. Her work has focused extensively on supporting healthcare professionals, first responders, and individuals experiencing complex trauma.
Building on this foundation, Beth’s recent clinical work centers on the profound impact of grief and loss. She supports individuals navigating significant life transitions and complex bereavement through a trauma-informed, nervous system–focused lens. Her integrative approach draws from EMDR, attachment theory, and somatic regulation, emphasizing the connection between mind and body during times of crisis and healing.
